One of Owensboro’s oldest holiday traditions, the HOLIDAY FOREST FESTIVAL OF TREES, will celebrate its 49th anniversary with a preview gala, Saturday, November 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art. Sponsored by The Glenmore Distillery.
The festival is highlighted by two exhibitions, including The Forest of Trees, twenty monumental Christmas trees designed to interpret STRING THEORY: Innovators in Modern Puppetry, an exhibition of puppets created by some of the most important men and women in the history of modern puppetry.
